Commands I always forget

ps See what processes are running

chsh change shell - I used tcsh on staff(set commands in .cshrc)

less page program - more prowerful then more

.login

add line saying stty erase [ctrl]v[backspace]set filec file completion ctrl+d gives file names starting with what you just typed tab tries to complete it

chmod make files readable (Web pages) files should be 644, directories should be 711

echo $SHELL
